Sharon's Story
Life
I am currently living in Virginia with my husband, John and our cats. I was married March 20, 1999 to a terrific guy, John Scott Lucas in Carmichaels PA. John is currently a Reading Specialist, teaching at a middle school. We lived in PA until August of 2000, where I worked at Community Bank for over eight years in the proof department, in GA (for only five months in 2000) where I worked as a teller at the First National bank of Griffin, and NC where we lived for three and a half years where I worked for a short time as a receptionist and then started at Pam's daycare center in August of 2001 and worked there until September of 2004. We moved to VA the fall of 2004 where I worked for Walnut Grove daycare center until December of 2005 when I was diagnosed with cancer. I had surgery on Janua...Expand for more
ry 3, 2006. The surgery went fine, they got all of the cancer, no radiation, no chemo. So far, so good! I worked at a grocery store for about a year and a half. I am currently an instructional assistant for the special education classes at a middle school.
On October 6, 2006 I became a grandmother. My daughter, Jennifer, had a baby boy. Preston Allen Bebout. He is beautiful!! Jennifer is married to great guy, Allen Bebout. On September 7, 2008 Jennifer gave birth to twin boys, Chase Zander and Brody Zane. Jenn was born in 1984. I stayed home with her until she started school. I then went back to Waynesburg college where I received an Associates degree in Secretarial Science in 1992. I am currently attending Lord Fairfax Community College working towards my teaching certificate.
