Sharon's Story
Life
I am a married to the love of my life and have a daughter and son. My daughter recently made me grandma for the first time and I am smitten with my grand-baby, Anneliese.
My son just accepted a 4 year scholarship to Columbia in NYC. He makes his father and mothers proud. He had a chance to go to West Point. But this liberal is glad she won't have a son in the army.
I live in the SW burbs but miss the city.
I'd love to hear from Teddy, Killer and Val K. We were best buds in high school and lost touch. I have thought of them oft...Expand for more

Workplace
My career is truly one of the joys in my life. I manage a community oncology practice. I completely enjoy every aspect of my work. I have an amazing staff and interact daily with physicians I respect tremendously. The best part tho, is the patients. Being able to walk their journey of treatment and whatever follows is a supreme and very personal gift. I travel to DC and other parts of the country, teaching and learning about patient advocacy. Cancer care has become a big part of who I am now.
