Sharon's Story
I married Gene Lewis from Pecos and we had 2 children. Each have 3 children so we now have 1 granddaughter and 5 grandsons. Our oldest 2 are in their 1st year of college. We moved to Dallas in 1968. After attending Cliff Mann Floral School in Denver 1970 we owned a florist-garden center and several other businesses in Dallas for several years. Our home was in Kessler Park for 32 yrs before we moved to a rural area between Waxahachie and Maypearl. We have a few acres with Waygu cattle (a great source of Koby steaks) and chickens which we have for the eggs they give, besides my 2 Westie dogs and Gene's...Expand for more

Gene, my husband founded and still pastors a church for the last 25 years. The church is in DeSoto on Beltline Rd. We have 2 charter schools, one in Dallas and 1 in Waxahachie. They were private schools before 1998 when our charter application was accepted,
I love to travel. I have been to South America, India, several countries in Europe and want to go again.
I retired from the position of PEIMS director and now I mostly paint on porcelain. I am current president of my Art club in Dallas. Come and paint with me, it is fun!
