Sharon's Story
Life
After graduation I moved to Northern California where I worked for a year as an executive secretary in a hospital here. I met the love of my life.....a very handsome guy...and within three weeks we were engaged, three months later, married. We have been married for 28 wonderful years. We live outside of town on a ranch. We raised cattle and hay...and kids! We have four fine young men, they are: Carson age 27, James, 26, Tim, 25, and Chris (who's married) 24. I was a stay-at-home mom for awhile, then I went to work for Shasta Head Start and have been there for the last 20 years. I work in social services and love it! Currently I am attending college to become a paralegal. I hope someday to work in a family law practice. I love Northern California....Expand for more
...the mountains here that surround this area are beautiful! We have snow in the winter, skiing, snowboarding, whatever you like. There are lakes for fishing, and great hunting. Our boys grew up hunting and fishing right on our property. I feel very blessed that I did not have to raise my family in the city. I do miss Pismo Beach, but I still have family there and occasionally make it home.
Update: Our oldest son Carson married on June 23, 2007, and our second son will marry on September 22, 2007. My hope is by this time next year we will be on our way to becoming grandparents!
Well, I will be a grandma on April 15th! Our son Chris graduated in June from the police aademy and our son Tim will graduate from the police academy in December. What a year!
