Life I taught music in the Russell, IA, Unionville and Kirksville, MO public schools until '92 and then relocated to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Although I love teaching, I decided that the public school system was full of too many hypocrites and was way too political for my taste, so I decided to venture on my own and teach privately. I met my husband Steven in October of '03 and we married in May of '94. We have no children - only two very spoiled dogs that love to roam around on our 1 acre fenced in backyard. I have a music studio in my home where I teach private piano/flute/voice to 30+ students, ages 5- adult, and I also sing/play keyboards periodically with a man who has been in the professional music industry with the "big guys" for over 30 years as a singer/songwriter.
