What can I say? I'm one of those lucky people who has had a pretty interesting life, even if I sometimes forget to recognize it! I'm a vacation nut, I'm still a book-nerd (ha ha), and I'm a closet archaeological fanatic...my magazine subscriptions scare the faint-hearted, to say the least! I am into firearms, shooting as often as affordable (darn the price of ammo), I just recently discovered that I LOVE hang-gliding, I am far too handy with tools and projects (I should have my own show!) and I love to renovate things. Refinishing furniture is a silent passion, one that can mull away the weekend. Tiling a house is one of the best stress reducers yet! I'm also learning to read hieroglyphs (the Egyptian kind) in my spare time, and am trying to rekindle my Japanese and Chinese language studies, which is proving to be quite the challenge! Vanity has escalated, as I desperately combat aging (my friends understand this plight of mine). I have an irrational fear of aging...apparently THAT fear runs in the family, LOL! I am the proud mother of the most quirky 12 year old daughter, who becomes more and more like me each day...YIKES! Life is never dull, what with her mouth running, LOL!!! Need...Expand for more
