Life
I was amazingly grateful to get out of high school and get away from all of the people there. All of my best friends didn't go to my school anyway. College was wonderful, given that I was with people who didn't know me and had no preconcieved notions about me, and it let me stretch out and discover more of who I was. And I discovered, in all that time, that I really LIKE who I am.

an adult, I have a wonderful circle of friends, I do what I want without worrying about what someone else thinks, I realize that I never have to run into anyone I knew from high school ever again unless I chose to, and I'm happier than I ever was back then. I just let myself be openly geeky and odd and don't apologize for any of it. Someone has a problem with it? Well, that's thier problem, then.
