ogether. We're still good friends and go to class reunions together. Workplace I was Activity Director for Parkway Chateau Retirement Residence here in Bellingham from 1987 until retirement in 2008. It was by far the most rewarding job I have ever had. The residents constantly boosted my ego and made me feel good about myself. I enjoyed the staff and management that I worked with. One of the best parts of my job was that every day was different. In addition to planning and executing the activities at the Chateau, I also drove the bus a couple hours every day. That got me out of the building for awhile. Most of my previous work had been secretarial except for a year driving a semi truck. That was a lot of fun but I don't care to do it again. I'm sure enjoying retirement. I spend a great deal of time working on my family history. I have been doing this since 1965, but with the internet, it has changed my research habits greatly. It has allowed me to increase my records to over 26,000 individuals. I hated history in school, but this makes history come alive to me. I live in a senior apartment complex. I manage to find time to play cards with friends nearly every day. Sharon
