Sharon's Story
Life
I attended Columbia University majoring in Pharmacuetical Chemistry (what a miserable bore and stuffy school I really didn't fit in), switched over to Bio-Medical Engineering (not quite as miserable but just as boring). Landed my first job with Hoffman LaRoche and married Sharon (Damn that was 30 years ago!). If you remember I always had a passion for the guitar. After LaRoche I started my own business in pro audio and did very well until Carter got elected, killed the economy and me with it. Moved to Seaford in the 70's and went on to more Engineering work for a medical electronics. Then off to sunny Florida where I currently reside and continue to do Engineering and hardware design for an internet company (firewalls, VPN, NAT, and all that really miserable, mundane, techno-babble beyond boring stuff). asters come to town. Last show at Ruth Ekerd Hall my sons were players as well, What a great experience. I am so very fortunate that we as a family all share so many common interests, music, computers, (drinking, wild women oops just kidding). I'm a grandpa now and look forward to getting older (that's a bold face lie). Is that all there is - I hope not. I try to remain young in mind and body. Being accepted by my sons as a friend and in turn their friends acceptance of me as a friend is really kinda cool. I get to hang with the younger (they are both married now) guys. I often wonder about what happened to us all, friends, acquaintances, people that I was mean to and didn't mean to be, people that were mean to me and probably meant it. I reflect on the those days and often wish I could go back, as I didn't realize it then but I do now, they were really the best of times. If you remember me (even you don't) drop me a line.
