Life I've been currently married to my Chicago Irishman since 1976. We have no children except our "fur babies" which at one time we had seven (7) Alaskan Malamute/Timber Wolf Hybrids we raised from pups. This fathers day, Steppenwolf passed away at 16 years old. Really a tough day around here. We only have one of his offsprings "Big Jake" and he is 13 years old. We have a mixed hound/huskie we found on our property in Michigan and a rescue from New Jersey, Wahosi we renamed Miss Terri (pronounced Mystery). I'm sure you all know about my experiences with my son and his escapades, but what you probably don't know is that I now work in the Department of Corrections for State of Indiana at the Westville facility that houses over 3,000 inmates. I am an Accountant that works in the Industries part of a Level 2 prison that employees offenders and helps to train them to be able to support themselves and family upon reentry into the population. I am a firm believer that we are not doing enough to ensure that they don't repeat their crimes and that there is more we can do. Enough of my "soap operaticness" (is that a word?). ...Expand for more
