Sharon's Story
Wow, 2014 has arrived and I am totally grateful to transition to a new year as a recent retiree. After spending 38 years as an Educator, specifically as Teacher, Counselor and Dean of Students at the secondary level, I am now able to create daily agendas that are tailored to my needs and desires. I've also relinquished my role as Wife, released after a 20 year stint; so, for me transition has multiple facets, to say the least. I am unequivocally a woman of faith, independen...Expand for more
t, happy, and to quote an admired friend, "I am self sufficient through my own contributions". As empowering as that sounds , the reality is my "sufficiency" is in the Christ of my convictions/devotion.
I love life, laughter and leisure, at this juncture. I look forward to enjoying it more with my immediate family including my only son and a varied group of positive and productive persons with like minds.
God is my pilot; I'm not good at solo flights!
