Sharon's Story
Hello from Lake Claiborne! It's the Louisiana Mudcat. What I'm doing right now is wishing I was out on my barge--fishing. That's my favorite thing to do. There's nothing like fishing out under the night sky. My family sez I have too much tackle, but hey, I say you never have too much of a good thing---and lures are so pretty!! (It's a girl thing, ok?)
I enjoy being the rockin' bass and back-up vocal for Red Dirt Highway. That's our bluegrass, blues, folk group. I love to take the top off my '04 Vette named James Dean, turn the rock and roll up to the sky and cruise...How awesome is that? I'm six years away from being able to retire and enjoy all this stuff fulltime, so just hide and watch. That's my plan. Every cast I make convinces me I was never meant to be...Expand for more
a desk jockey. Here's to rock and roll, fast cars, cool music and a custom fishing rig with a CD player.
How I managed to find my way back to school, I can't say. I'll have a Master's in organizational psychology from Tech the next time I change this story. My daughter and I compare notes on the same professors. College is more fun this time around, though. And certainly more fun than work.
Enjoyed my 30th class reunion last summer. I guess you always hold a tender place in your heart for those certain special friends. But time sure does get
away from us....Just a reminder to seize the day. If I had one day to go back and share with you guys 30 plus years ago, I wonder which day I should pick? If we could change one thing, what would it be?Somebody tell me.
