Life My name was Sharon Raney and I graduated from Washington High School in 1974. I was married in August 1973 the year before graduation. I had a daughter in 1976, a son in 1977 and a son in 1980. In 1984 I was divorced and started a new life with my three children. I got a job at a box company in Kansas City, Kansas where I worked for several years. I met my current husband while working there. His name is Robert Beresford. He grew up in Roeland Park, Kansas. We were married in 1985 and I became step mother to my husband's son and daughter from a previous marriage. I went to work at New Blue Print/K.C., MO in 1986 as billing clerk. I was laid off in 1987 and found a job at Universal Money Center/Mission, KS as a customer service representative. I was promoted in 1990 to Account Representative. In 1991 I took a job at Barton Solvents, Inc/K.C., KS where I worked as Secretary/Accounts Receivable until 1998. In May 1998 I left my employment due to Rheumatoid and Osteo Arthritis. I am still disabled. In August 1999 we sold the home where my husband was born and raised in Roeland Park, Kansas and bought a 40 acre farm near Bethany, Missouri.
