Sharyn's Story

Life I am happily married to George Berger (Fleming class of '68) for the last 20 years. We have a beautiful 13 year old daughter Melissa. We live in Toronto - have never left. I work for the provincial government and George works for the City of Toronto. I love going for long walks, window shopping, getting together with friends and going to the theatre. ontract basis in 1985. In 1988, I was lucky enough to land a full time position with the provincial government, where I remain today. I work for Emergency Management Ontario, which is a division of the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. We respond to all emergencies in Ontario. The big ones we have worked on lately are SARS, the blackout of 2003, and helping with the relief effort for Hurricane Katrina.
