Life
After Churchill and U.O. I moved to California and joined the Oakland Police Department. I worked as a street cop for 10 years, then became a Detective Sergeant and worked 7 more years, the last 3 in homicide, until I was injured on the job and retired on disability. e horses in the mounted unit. We decided to get out of California, so we bought a small farm in Virginia where we raise horses and other critters. I'm restoring our old farmhouse and also working part time as a horse shoer and blacksmith. I don't miss city life at all....Life is pretty good now. Wish I could have made some of the reunions, but now that I'm 3000 miles away it's a little difficult.....
