Shauna's Story
I always wanted to be a Princess when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a silly idea. As it turns out, they were absolutely right.
If I get really really steamed up I yell. But I like to relax by reading, sleeping, playing my instruments, needlework, watching TV, listening to music and playing computer games.
I have many heros. One of them is a little girl named Savannah. A student of mine. That little kid has been through multiple surgeries and debilitating seizures. But nothing keeps her down. She fights until she overcomes her current challenge and stays cheerful.

en Educators.
I have a statue that was given to me in 2003. It was given to me when I received an Excel award from Granite Education Foundation for being an outstanding educator.
My first job was at Beehive Clothing Mills, where I got paid a pittance to sew the crotch seam in mens LDS garments. What I remember most about it is unpicking tons of seams before I got it right. I cried a lot too..
Getting outside early in the morning when the air was still fresh and roller skating up and down the street with the wind in my face.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my father, because I still miss him..
I love my dog "Snickers". He is just as much a part of our family as the kids are. I love my children to distraction and I am proud of them.
My current age is 54. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be one foot in the grave. I was so completely wrrrright! :).
