Shawn's Story
After high school I went to Umass Amherst where I received two degrees, B.S in Legal Studies and a Masters in Public Health.
During my the last semester of my Masters program I sort of fell into the assisted living industry, where I have remained.
Over the last few years I have been working as an operational turn around specialist. I am now working for a small start up company with friends that have gone out on their own. I am currently working in Plymouth, MA (yes commuting from Danielson CT every day) in a community that opened in Nov 07, I will be there for 1-2 years and then relocated.

ork where she was working as a nurse. I have two step children, Cara age 21 and Joey age 16. I am also a foster parent for the State of CT, currently I am caring for two brothers who just turned one and two. Life as I knew it have changed greatly. What a great experience, I have a whole new appreciation for people with small kids, what a hard job!
High school seems so long ago, I would love to hear from fellow classmates, please feel free to contact me. For those who are reading this and decide not to write, I hope life has treated you well and I wish you the best that life has to offer in the future.
