Shawn's Story
Well after graduation. I joined U.S Air Force on the delayed entry program. I married the love of my life Celeste in Jan 85. I left for basic in Feb 85. First son Christopher was born in Apr 86. Daughter Elizabeth was born in Nov 87. Both were born in Jacksonville AR where I was stationed. I completed my military obligations and moved back to Louisville. My third child Charles was born Sept 91. Chris received his Associates Degree last year and is now working as an electrician apprentice for the local union. Elizabeth is in her third year of Pharmacy School at Butler University in Indianapolis. Charlie is a senior at PRP. He is class president and named all-distict lineman this year. He also was named by the Mayors Office "One of Louisville's Most Outstanding Seniors"!Charlie has signed to play football at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia KY. I am really proud of my children and blessed. They are all first class citizens!

artment. Celeste returned to school when we moved back home and received her nursing degree. She was working at Frazier Rehab as an Associate Nurse Manager / RN when she had to quit in Feb 04
Our family was hit with bad news in Jan 04. Celeste was diag with ALS (aka Lou Gerhig disease). Bad Stuff!!!. She was given three to five years. Celeste is and always will be an inspiration to many especially me! We were named ALS Family of the Month for the whole United States for ALS Awareness Month in May 08. This is not really an award you want to win, but hey, if your in the running you might as well win! Right?
Unfortunately for me and my family, Celeste was called to heaven April 15, 2009. She will be greatly missed by myself, family and friends. She was a great avocate for the awareness of ALS. She did all she could to help others fight their illness. For everyone that helped us through this ordeal with their prayers and helping hand, I "Thank You Dearly"
I am looking forward to the 25th reunion. I hope many will attend.
