Life
Hey there, hi there, ho there guys! Long time, no hear from the lot of you (my fault, I know but, then, I was always anti-social :) Hope everyone is doing great!
Moved down to Florida a couple of years ago and, man, am I loving it hehe! Nothing like throwing away a life in Michigan and moving to paradise :)
I'm still my same-old eccentric self, much to my mother's dismay. She's still waiting for me to grow up *winks* Alas, but the Peter Pan Syndrome is a permanent thing, I'm afraid.
Been married, divorced, married again and now I'm separated (can you hear the sigh of relief there?). I have two wonderful children; Deidra who is 15 now, sports a head of bright blue hair, and aspires to be a cartoonist (anime...wonder where she got that love of art? *grin*). My son, Morgan, is 11 and your stereotypical video game addict/computer geek but he's a good kid.
Me, I'm a freelance writer, despite my aspirations to become a broadcaster (worked in radio for a time but decided I didn't like it much...same with television). Have a lot of fun with it and people actually publish the junk I write (thank you, Mrs. Bachman, for the inspiration :). It's a lot of fun.
Other than that, I just hang out in Florida, dodging hurricanes and generally having a blast. Feel free to send me an email if you'd like; I'm always around somewhere and would love to talk!

Whew...now here's an odd collection:
Graduated from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in 1988, where I went straight into a new postion at Goldcoast Radio WRRK/WMTE in Manistee, MI. Did that for about a year until the station was automated to a satellite feed, eliminating the need for disk jockeys. Produced and directed local cable television segments for the Manistee Jerry Lewis M.D.A. Telethon in 1989, which was a blast.

ton area, I worked a few odd jobs here and there, my favourite being a Floor Manager at Pet Barn Plus in Fenton, MI. I really enjoyed the combination of working with animals, educating and helping people, and the chance to learn more about herpetology, birds and aquariums. While the pay wasn't great, the owners were fun and I met a lot of great people while I was there.. unfortunately, the owners opted for early retirement and closed the store in 1990.
From there, I tried a couple more jobs before suddenly appearing on the steps of WACY Radio in Fenton, MI and offering my services. Got hired on as a part time dj and really had some fun there; the listeners were great and spoiled me rotten, always stopping by and bringing me dinner or home-baked goods LOL. Since the station was possibly being sold, there was no real formatting and we didn't run commercials; it was just me talking to the people about silly stuff that I read in the newspaper, joking with callers and playing the funniest country songs that I could find (I had to go for the comedic ones, simply because I always hated country lol). Our listeners loved it.
Sadly, I had to give up the radio position when I moved up to Flint and took a part-time position at a local petrol station up there. Hated it. After getting grabbed by a very tall and muscular man who was intent on kissing me, one night, I decided that that was not where I wanted to go. So I said goodbye to the hooker who came in and talked to me every night so she could warm up (sad but true) and put in my resignation.
I far prefer working on my own time. Occasionally, I will do some sculpting and list it up for sale on the internet though most of my time is spent writing. I've had everything from poetry to web content published and am currently working on a novel. It's great, being able to do something I love and spend time with my kids!
