I grew up South Florida where I studied and performed in musical theater, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and Latin dance. I also had many amazing opportunities performing in Latin parades and festivals including famous Calle Ocho in Miami and was featured in many Latin dance productions on the Latin television channel, UNIVISION. was fairly unknown in the Los Angeles area. I worked closely with Beto Perez (the creator of Zumba), earning my instructor license from him, and ultimately took part in the Zumba Fitness infomercials filmed in LA that summer. Since then, I have worked with the best of the best Zumba instructors, dancers, and fitness professionals in building an incredible career of dance, fitness, and music that includes sharing the Zumba Fitness program with hundreds of excited students every week, being featured in 3 of the New Zumba Fitness Exhilarate DVDs and infomercial in 2010, organizing and leading Zumba halftime shows with the NBA Los Angeles Clippers, WNBA Los Angeles Sparks, and heading up the NBA All Star Jams in 2011. In addition I was chosen as an Authorized Zumba Jammer this past year and have enjoyed leading Jam Sessions (choreography sessions) for ZIN Members all over Southern California. It has been an amazing and rewarding experience to mentor instructors and students alike in their Zumba Fitness endeavors.
