Life
Can't believe I will be 42!! yo in 2 mos!!!! It just doesn't seem possible that it has been 24 yrs since high school. I have 2 gorgeous little boys, 4 1/2 and 6 yo. I have the best husband in the world and the luckiest, for he survived Kidney Cancer now for almost 3 years! He was given a clean bill of health from Sloan-Kettering primarily because his cancer was very rare and nonaggressive and had not metastisized.
In the little bit of free time I have I sell Mary Kay Cosmetics and love it. It's like being in a 12 Step Program---no matter where you go in the U.S. you have friends. You just have to find a Mary Kay meeting!
We live in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana. My husband, Bill, manages a ranch here and we live on the place, which is just awesome. We have horses, cats, goat, and a great 1 1/2 yo yellow lab named Lucy who we will be breeding very soon!!
I also enjoy cross-country and down hill skiing, horsebackriding, fishing, camping, hiking, biking and especially swimming. I want to learn more about quilting and sewing, watercolor and acrylic painting,...Expand for more
woodworking etc etc... I have too many interests. Once the boys are in school full-time I plan to finish my BS degree.
UPDATE: 1/2008
I am currently working at the Job Corps nearby and am a staff cook. I help direct the Culinary Arts students while we prepare meals for approx. 200 people on center. I love the work and the pay is hard to beat around here. I started making beaded jewelry and started back at piano lessons. Now that the kids are in school full-time, I have more time for fun. I plan on getting back to the University and finishing my degree---probably in Business-Marketing or Financing. In the nicer weather I like riding horses and now that it's winter we are up at the Ski Mountain frequently--it's only 30 min away! And awesome skiing!
Our Yellow Lab, Lucy, just had her second litter of pups. They are gorgeous--all 10 of them!. Things will be getting pretty wild around here in a few weeks.
My boys are now 6 & 8 and taking up skiing and snowboarding. They are naturals.
