Sheena la France:  

My name was Sheena Carter, until my last year in HS, when I took my mothers new last name, La France. You may remember me by my former name. My name is now Beauchamp. We lived in So. Calif until l976. Moved to get away from the crowds, and violence. I live in the Ozarks of SW Missouri, where it is beautiful. I have never regretted the move. I raised my kids here, which was a smart decision. I married a former classmate and we had 2 sons Grant 33 and Nolan 31, and were divorced after 11 years. Remarried , to Gene , 23 years ago and raised his 2 kids as well, Dave 40 and Michelle 37 Still married and so far so good. We have 3 grandkids. We love to travel and cruise and take frequent vacations. My husband retired last year and we are doing a lot more traveling and family time. I stayed home about 5 years with my kids when they were little, until they were in school full time. I worked as a bank teller, and loan assistant, then a legal secretary, and then in a finance company doing real estate loan work. I was a full time bookkeeper for a while I moved to Missouri and became a DEPUTY sheriff for a while, before my first son was born, that was interesting. . I also did the dept bookkeeping and dispatching while I was pregnant. I quit after Grant was born after a few late night trips to breakup a bar brawl with women involved or having to be gone to transport a women across state. I went to work at a Hospital as the Ward Secretary in the Emergency Room for a couple of years, that ruined my health and I quit .. Went back to work as a Ward Secretary in Endocrinology and Metabolism unit for several years, where I met and married my husband, and he suggested I quit, I jumped at the chance. I spent lots of "kid time" doing the obligatory mom taxi duties, attending school functions, room mother, volunteered at the school, class trips, clubs, contests, etc. for 4 kids. My 2 were in a gifted school, so they needed transportation, which the school didn't provi...Expand for more
