Sheena's Story
Sheena's schools include Chatham High School.class of 1969,favorite teacher was Mr.John McCarthy( Math not my favorite subject).Stopped at his home in Blackville last year (2012) to tell him how much I appreciated him as our teacher on my way home from Fredericton(2012,better late than never) and he was so pleased to see me.I entered nursing school at Hotel Dieu Hospital 1969 ,married and have 2 daughters,2 son-in -laws and 1 very important grandson who is a big part of our lives. ay I loved caring for Seniors. I also was 1st Vice of NB Council of Nursing Homes Unions (CUPE) from 1995 to 2001.Sat on 3 rounds of Negotiatios for all Nursing Home workers in NB (CUPE members),also sat on the Pension Board and training programs for nursing home workers in all nursing homes in NB.Presently enjoying my retirement to the fullest. I enjoy swimming laps at the school pool,music and singing,still love to laugh , enjoy my families and friends and still remember all the great people I went to school with in Chatham N.B. Life is good !
