Sheila's Story
DONT FORGET TO CHECK OUT MY FAMILY PICS!
Hi,
Well, so much has happened since High School...Where do I start?
Well, I moved to my grandmothers in Shelby Twp/Utica, MI to finish my last year of high school. Then I re-united with some friends of mine in her neighborhood. Low and behold, the boy that I useto get so mad at when I hung with his sister ends up being my soul mate! He useto be such a BRAT! :-)
I then went to business school right after H.S. I then married (the brat...lol) my best friend and soul mate, Michael Scott Webb. He goes by Scott though. :-) I have known him since I was like 7 yrs old. His parents grew up in the same town as mine too. We were great friends for a while until one night..well you know...(its actually very romantic UNTIL we bumped teeth! LOL)
We have been together ever since. He is actually the most wonderful, sweetest, kindest, most gentle, selfless man I know and such a wonderful father. He has a dry sense of humor--and so fun to be with. Everybody loves him. Sometimes people will wait till he's away and say, "Was he serious?" LOL
Oh, I almost forgot! He is also the most handsome man I have known. Well, I guess love can be blind too. Check his pics, e has the cutest chipmunk cheeks too! LOL Some very beautiful women are always checkin him out! :-) thats ok though...Its a compliment to me. I just laugh and joke with him about it. He reminds me all the time that we were meant to be together and we are soul mates. We are forever reading each others minds..seriously. It is the craziest thing! Anyway, I just really could not ask for a better man. My friends tell me I am so fortunate and to hold onto him tight. He is so very affectionate too. Still treats me like we are teenagers. Sometimes I get tired of it, but, I dare not ever tell him that. Because I know it would hurt his feelings and he may stop completely! We have been together for 21 yrs now. I mean dont get me wrong, we work together in our own business every day side by side. So sometimes we get on each others nerves, but, we have a little tif and its over fairly quickly. He is such a hard working, disciplined, knowledgeable man. I am so proud of him. We own a very successful home inspection company called GeorgiaHomePros.com. He performs 300+/- home inspections per year. 2000+ now and counting. I am also a Realtor for 14 yrs now as well. I love what we do. It is so gratifying helping people with one of the most important, exciting, biggest investments they will make in their lifetime.
Our children are a true blessing. We have 3. Two boys and a girl. 20, 17, and 9 yrs old. I am so so so very...Expand for more
proud of all them. They all love school, get excellent grades and have so many friends. They are just plain old "Good Kids". It took some time with my boys but, all the same we got here. LOL
We bought our first home in Warren in 1992, then to Almont, MI in 1995, then to Lapeer, MI in 1999. Then when we seen the recession moving in on MI so we sold our house and finally moved to the south in 2001! We have wanted to move here for years but, was afraid to leave family and friends. Georgia was on our mind for years due to the low cost of living, low taxes, no potholes/snow and friendly people. Not to mention the absolutely gorgeous mountains! Although I so miss my friends and family. :-(
We now live just south of a small town called Marble Hill in Georgia. Our mailing address is actually a Ball Ground, GA mailing address. We are located in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. It is absolutely beautiful here. We are surrounded by mountains and waterfalls. Only 40 minute drive to the Appalachian Trail that extends all the way to Maine. We love to fix up homes so we bought our last real fixer upper on 3 acres. I cant deal with living in a fixer upper again! Getting too old for it! LOL It is a brick ranch on a basement 5/3. We are working on it still but, it is coming along quite beautifully. We thought it was a great investment giving its location in the mountains and it backs up to a small lake and 200 acres of Botanical Gardens, called Gibbs Arbor Crest. Talk about Location, location, location! It is truly the most beautiful place/park I have ever seen. Tons of flower gardens, decorative flowering trees, gorgeous flower gardens, 20some (each) bridges, ponds, streams, and waterfalls just all over the property. It will be opening soon. We hope to one day build a small cabin for visitors in our woods for friends to visit us and the gardens.
I still talk to Gina Todaro (Reiss now). She is married to a Police Detective for St.Clair Shores PD. Trasye Williams (Droske now) is married to Mike Droske and living in Florida. Mike was on the wrestling team. Gina and Trasye email me almost daily. Oh and Cindy Flaherty too. I had my old broker help Cindy find her first house in 2006. She is so happy! Brian Blazius is in the military, married, living in Germany now and seems to be doing well. Jerry Emerson sent me a text msj in 2003 from Classmates.com to say hello. He seemed to be doing well in Florida as a bachelor and insurance agent.
I truly miss so many of you from school. Please contact me anytime so we can catch up. I would really love to hear from you.
Love ya all,
Sheila Adams-Webb
