Sheila's Story

Life While working as office manager at the local airport I started taking flying lessons before and after work - married my flight instructor in 1982. We have one son, Ryan (22) who graduated and received his 2LT Commission, from Univ. of S. Florida, in May 2007. He just completed 6 months of Armor Officer's Training at Ft. Sill, OK and Ft. heading to Ft. Bliss, TX (12/06/2007) where he'll be stationed with the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division...until further notice. To say I'm a proud parent would be an understatement! My husband Dave, Maj. USAF, Ret., works in local county government. I quit working in 1992 to be a "stay-at-home" Mom and have enjoyed the "retired" life ever since.
