Sheila's Story
Life
Worked for a year. Then went to medical secretarial school for a year. Worked at the Medical Group for 2 years and then married the man of my dreams in 1983. We've been married for 25 years this July. Became a stay at home mom in 1984. We have 3 amazing children-daughter 23, son 21, son 17. Went back to work when last child went to kindergarten. Daughter and son are both married. Our daughter and daughter-in-law are both pregnant and we will be grandparents twice before Christmas 2008! Our son and son-in-law are in the Army Infantry. Both just returned from Iraq in December 07 and will most likely redeploy there sometime next year. ...Expand for more
Both couples live in El Paso, Texas at Fort Bliss. We are still here in Memphis. The good thing about that is We are still in contact with people we've known since grade school. Can't go anywhere without running into someone we know! My husband, Bill, is an airplane mechanic, well, lead inspector now for a regional airline. He's been there 20 years this week. I'm our part-time church secretary. Still playing the piano for church also and singing. Loved high school, loved raising kids, love getting to be in-laws and grandparents. God is good. We're just loving life as it is (except these gas prices!!) and looking to the future. God bless!
