Life Well --- I turned 50 this year, as I imagine the majority of us have and I am so grateful to be out of those "cwazy forties". I love middle age - wisdom, freedom, restraint and discretion; qualitites I've needed to hone for a long while. I own an historic home in Old Towne Orange - sons are in college and enjoying a quieter life - really - for the first time. I am learning WHO I AM!! Still love teaching and I am writing more and more - will finish my second novel soon. I treasure my life - thank you for all of you who have been a part of the memories that I treasure as well. School I have tried on so many occasions to share with my sons as well as my students how vibrant a time it was to be in high school in the early seventies. The overall political climate and events allowed us the opportunity to come into ourselves as our nation was defining itself. The music, art, speeches, rallies, protests, liberations, Roe v.
