Sheila's Story

Not much to tell probably about the same as anyone else at this age and time. I do enjoy looking at the pictures that have been posted would be fun to see more. Will have to drag out the old year books again. Does anyone look like they did 40 years ago? What have I been up to, well still own a couple small businesses work part time and as little as possible now. Travel to Arizona a few times a year to visit my oldest daughter and grand kids that are now grown up. My first grandson is turning 21, where did the years go. Getting fat and sassy, grey and wrinkled and no I'm not a blond the picture is 3 years old and really don't want to go through the trouble of looking younger anymore. A couple years ago I sold most of what I owned and decided to simplify my life. If anything I found that life is to short to worry about money and being anything but yourself. Rich poor it really doesn't matter. I'm in Arizona right now, going to take my grandson to Vegas for his 21st birthday and that's the type of grandma I am. I guess I never followed the path of the normal people. For my oldest grandaughter's graduation present we went to an adults only spa i...Expand for more
n Cancun. I traveled for my business and work for several years. Experienced incredible things and saw places that were beautiful, the down side was I traveled alone and it just wasn't the same trying to explain how great it was when I got home. I doubt that there are many people from high school that would remember me because I really didn't hang around with anyone my age and pretty much kept to myself at school. One thing I remember about school is that by being quiet and not a part of what went on there it made for some interesting stories I heard about what I was doing and who I was. I did go to the 20 year reunion, actually forced to go by my younest daughter. Glad I went but didn't know hardly anyone. I was totally amazed at how many people came up to me to talk about parties they had been to at my house, now I have to say no one from school was ever at a party at my house but just let them ramble on. High school sucked! Life begain after high school not during. So how many people would truely be honest about what high school was like. Still live in MN it is home. I haven't found any place even the great ones that feel like home.
