Sheila's Story
I married straight out of high school and I lost my husband after 14 years of marriage and didn't think I would ever make it but I did with the help of my daugther. She is the love of my life and my greatest joy. I went to work at UA after high school and I am still there. It will be 30 years in August and I have loved every minute of it.
I thought I had found someone special again and was married for 9 years before I found out he had other plans which didn't include me. Oh well you learn from your mistakes ...Expand for more
and boy did I learn a lesson. And at the end of that I had to get a second job to supplment my income and found a good part-time with a shoe store. I worked there five years. I quit last year because my knees could not handle standing up so long (we could not sit down during our work hours)and my mother passed away in April 2008 and I was not getting to see my daughter that much.
And life is short and I didn't want to miss out on things with her because you can't go back and redo things that you missed out on.
