Sheila's Story
After graduation I worked full time at Equitable Ins. Co, got married in '63, had 2 great boys in '65 and '68. We moved to New Jersey in 1965 and I have been here ever since. After my boys started school I went back to work full time at a wholesale pharmaceutical company and was there 17 years till they sold out to a bigger company. I went back to Vo Tech school and became a certified pharmacy tech and took many night school courses and remained working in pharmacy business till Jan.2008 when I happily retired. My oldest son works for Toyota Corp, and my youngest has his own construction business. I have 4 beautiful grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls. They are the joy of my life. My husband is a carrier for the postal service and will not retire until 2014.
In 2002 my Mother sold our home in
Shipoke and Mom and my handicapped brother came to live with us in Jersey.

er health has failed quickly and just a few months ago I had to place her in a nursing center where she is doing quite well. My brother Steve is adjusting and goes to a day program 4 days a week. The past six years have been quite a challenge for Joe and I.
I am active in my church and sing in the choir when I can. I still love bowling, only in 1 league this year. Had surgery on my hands and am still getting back my strength. We love traveling and have been to Bermuda, Bahamas, Aruba (my favorite) Disney, and we go to Las Vegas every year. Joe's brother lives in Hawaii so we are planning that trip. In May we are headed to Cancun and Vegas with friends. I love walking, gardening, cycling, spending time at the senior center playing poker and enjoying the company of my family. I also do volunteer work whenever and wherever I can.
