Sheila's Story
After graduation from KHS in 1969 I worked as a dental assistant for a year. My senior year I dated Gary McDade who also graduated in 1969 from KHS and the year after graduation we continued to date.. We married on Christmas day 1970. Gary worked for a delivery service after graduation and then joined the Navy to avoid being drafted. He was stationed in Virginia Beach so that is where we moved after we married. n Charleston, SC, then back to Virginia, and then Rota, Spain for 3 years, When he got out of the Navy he went to college at Freed-Hardeman in Henderson, TN. After that we lived at Hillsboro, Tennessee for a few years and then moved back to Memphis. We moved here in Chattanooga about 10 years ago. Lookout Mountain is in our backyard. It is beautiful.
