Shelley's Story
Life
I guess the cool kids don't upload their photos.
After high school I went to Bemidji State University for a couple years, including a semester at Oxford University. I then went to the University of Minnesota and to Metro State University. My goal was to become a lobbyist for the animals rights and environmental causes, but then was sucked into marketing through my job at NordicTrack. In my free time I spent as many nights as possible listening to live music.

up my marketing career at the National Strength and Conditioning Association, but then decided to work for the daily newspaper as the assistant to the publisher. Without thinking about it, this is the third newspaper I've worked for and, as they say, the ink is running in my veins.
In 2005 I moved to Manitou Springs, a little mountain town next to Colorado Springs. And the best part is December 2006 I gave birth to twin girls! Their dad is another newspaper guy - the managing editor for a weekly business newspaper.
