Shelley's Story
Although I was born in Canada, I have lived most of my life in the United States. With my dad's line of work, we would move around alot. I went to elementary school in colorado, Wyoming,New Mexico and Utah. My middle school years were mainly in Utah. Part of my high school years were done in Crownpoint N.M. and the other part in Thoreau where I ended up graduating from.
I think because of so much moving around I never really got to close to anyone because I NEVER knew when I would end up having to leave them and move on to somewhere else.
Since being out of school, I have gotten married and have 4 sons. With my husbands line of work (which is basically the same thing that my dad did and how I met my husband) we moved around alot. FINALLY we have been in this one place now for little over 10 years. Before th...Expand for more
at we never lived anywhere for more then a year and a half.
I am kept busy with being involved with my kids activities. All of my sons were very active in sports since they were probably 4-5 years old, so that keeps us hopping. I have been involved with booster club ( can you believe that ) American Legion Baseball board member, and most recently a active Military Families group. My 2nd son is active in the U.S. Navy and stationed over seas.
I work part time and of course enjoy my down time. I still have 2 sons in High School who will graduate in 2010 so the sports still keep us running but I enjoy that !!
I enjoy listening to music and going to concerts. Most recently most of the concerts I have been to have been country music artist. I also enjoy taking pictures and just spending time with my family.
