Shelley's Story
Hi everyone!
Since leaving South, I've lived in Rogers Pass, where I met my husband, married, had 2 sons, moved to Revelstoke where we lived for 20 years, then moved to Hope. Lived in Hope for 8 years, marriage ended, and I moved to Victoria in 2003.
I worked here for 10 years, then retired in 2013, and started a small business. I have 15 senior clients, youngest is 80, most "mature" (like a fine wine!) is 93. I help them to remain independent and in their own homes, so they can enjoy their golden years. I take them to appoi...Expand for more
ntments, shopping, visit with them, and do some cooking, baking, and a bit of light housekeeping for them. They are all so vital, and energetic.......and so much fun! They are my joy, and it is never work to be with them.
My sons are married and have given me 8 fabulous grandkids. Sean lives in Revelstoke, and Neil lives here on the Rock.
I really enjoy catching up with friends from the past. I don't get to the mainland as much as I'd like as it is so expensive.
