Shelley's Story
My how time flies...
After Senior year I went on an AFS foreign exchange program to work camps in England and Wales for 3 months. It was a completely amazing experience!
Then I wandered through college, starting at UMKC, then an Associates from JCCC, a Bachelors from Texas Christian and a Masters from KU.
I married, moved back to Brookside, then 16 years later divorced.
Moved back to Texas, and am now making plans to come back to KC once more to take help with my mom as she ages.

ertifying hazmat responders and doing hazard site cleanup, then as a risk manager and continuity planner. I've spent the last few years leading business continuity training for the state of Texas.
Now I am looking for the next gig to transition my career back to KC.
I've kept in touch with some of you, lost track of others, but always enjoy running into and getting updates on my classmates from SW.
I hope you've all survived this crazy strange 2020, and that we'll be able to have a reunion again soon so I can catch up on how you are doing.
