Shelley Jensen:  

Life I attended college at Eastern Washington University and the University of Mexico in Mexico City after graduating from Cheney High School. I earned a B.A. in Spanish from Eastern in 1990. After graduation, I went to work for the U.S. Office of Federal Investigations (stationed in Kennewick, then Seattle) as a background investigator. I attended training in Washington, D.C. and conducted special investigations in California, Idaho as well as Washington. I met my future husband through this agency. He was also an investigator. After leaving the Office of Federal Investigations due to a nationwide reduction in force, I went to work for State Farm, until my daughter, Megan, was born. When Megan was born, I decided to be a stay-at-home mom until she started school. (That's the hardest job I've ever had -- but the most rewarding!!!) In 1997, my husband took a job with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Customs & Border Protection in Great Falls, Montana. I took an exciting fast-paced job with the Great Falls Symphony as an administrator. I assist the executive director with booking artists such as Yo Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman and a variety of Broadway shows.
