Shelley's Story
Been right here in SDL and PHX sorta single these days...(separated for 9 years)... still have family and old friends (they really are old now!) living here...getting away from the heat is easy to do with day trips and adventures in Arizona's diverse topography.
Loved going to NAU-yes I was a tooty frooty cheerleader!. Forever learning-ended up teaching elem. (and learning from kids about the IMPORTANT things in life).
Master's degree in computers in educ. and 70 more hours in all kinds of classes. Fascinated with those "interesting kids" Autistic/Sped kids. Also taught grade 1 (the light in their eyes when they "get it" to learn to really read is priceless!). Then taught grade 4 (AZ history) where they are becoming more social and...Expand for more
only SLIGHTLY obnoxious! Together my students and I earned donations to help preserve many acres of desert in AZ and rainforests around the world....very concerned about our planet.
I spend my time with my three dogs, visiting doggie park -(must love dogs)... and hanging around my beautiful home on the side of a mountain (see photos of the views on facebook)-doing some hiking and other creative hobbies. Have had some health issues, back is pretty iffy...all those falls in gymnastics??...no longer skinny...more like "curvy" AMAZON.
My son Scott lives close by and we love to see and discuss movies. WOULD LOVE TO DO SOME TRAVELING!! More photos in facebook.
