Shelli's Story
Since high school - I did the college bit for a couple of years at UNC but quit to take a good job at Blue Cross/Blue Shield which led to a job in Vail for a year. Vail is a nice place to visit but... Came back and went to work for AT&T for 10 years, retired and went into outside sales. Loved that job, being my own boss and meeting/visiting with lots of people. Spent a weekend in Sheridan Wyoming with a friend and loved the place, it took me 3 years to move there with my significant other. Started a lawn fertilizing business (like my Mom and Stepdad's in Denver) and am truly my own boss now and loving life. I love rodeos, drag racing, fishing, campi...Expand for more
ng(in a trailer no tents for me) and especially Nascar. I visit Denver about once a year for a slumber party with girlfriends or the Mile High National drag races at Bandimere. I've made a list of things I want to do before I get too old and have started doing them. The list includes mostly traveling, Australia, Africa, Ireland and Alaska but also going to at least one Nascar race which will be checked off this year when I go to Indianapolis to a Brickyard race. Was married for a year at 23 yrs old and never again. No kids although I do work with kids in Sheridan alot with an afterschool program and love it as long as they don't come home with me.
