Shelly's Story
Life
I have 2 cats, 1 dog and 2 monkeys that I gave birth to. I have identical twin boys who are 10. I've raised my boys since they were 9 weeks old by myself. It has been quite the challenge but so rewarding. Since High School I've lived between California and Washington, I think I'm now in Washington to stay. I've lived here in the Aberdeen area for 10 yrs now. There are times when I miss the Seattle area, the ease of being able to go to events, aquarium and zoo with just a 20 minute drive, but I do enjoy living in a smaller community as well. I enjoy camping, fishing, movies, sunday drives to no where in particular, scrap booking and a good book I can get lost in.
School

e classes you really didn't want to take but it was that or auto mechanics, and well that just wasn't me...LOL neither was digging in the dirt! Vicki Willis and Rebecca Roberts were my cohorts int hat class and we were so slow at digging those darn holes! I had only one crush when I was a sophmore and that was on Steve Swankie football player and president of some club (I can't remember the name...FFA or something to do with Home Economics/Farming or something or other...I enjoyed my high school years in general.
Workplace
I had my own business for 16 years as a Nail Artist, which I really enjoyed. I closed it up and went to work for the State of Washington's Department of Correction's, I work at a 1900+ bed all male prison complex. I started off working in a housing unit and currently work in the Healthcare unit. It was time to start thinking of my future building some sort of retirment. I love that I finally have benefits too!
