Shelly's Story
Well let's see here~
I am married to my husband Michael for nearly 21 years and have four wonderful children.
My oldest daughter will be turning 19 soon, and my son will be 16 in a matter of months, and then there's my second daughter and she'll be 10 in less than 20 days, and last but not least there's the caboose, the one that keeps me young but not without white hairs!
She just turned 4 this past June!!!! Now I know what you're thinking about the difference in the age gaps, however, they're all absolute blessing in our lives~
I work part-time and am a mother full time!
We have 1 dog and 2 cats.
We've lived here in Hebron Indiana for almost 8 1/2 years. I like the idea of raising our children here in the country without the city smog(chicago) and still be able to reach wherever I want within 20 minutes or so. You couldn't pay me enough to move back to the suburbs or even the city!!!!
My goal in life is to achieve whatever goal that I set before me and to teach my children to do the same........................................
Take A very deep breathe and if possible, take a long walk and reflect....
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a large cup of cofee , some fantastic music, and a great mind set to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My inspiration comes from my grama (RIP) and my mom. They both had a great impact on whom I've become .....
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Paul Delcarlo, because he was one of my closest friends..
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the living room and add on a a family room/dining room. My dream home would be to living in a home that not only made me happy but was ada...Expand for more
ptable for everyone else in the household too..
I've learned that a parent should always talk to their child, not at them. This shows love and respect, and like the golden rule says " If you want respect- you must give it).....
If I won $100 million, I'd give all the immediate family members a portion of it to help them in whatever their needs/wants may be, then spend the rest on investments that would insure our needs would be taken care of for myself, husband, and our children., And Oh yea, a very long and overdue vacation and a couple of new cars too!.
Oh yea, sure did on RMC in Carthage, IL. My roommate name was Kim and she was a blast! We were in different programs, however we did alot together on campus ie. worked in the office(part-time gig)aerobics and playing football on the campus lawn. And let's not forget the pizza place in town. Oh man , the party we had there with all our friends!!! And the shopping up in at the mall!
My current age is 40. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be ancient. I was so completely wrong, for I've just entered into a totally new phase of life called; My Prime!!.
My oldest friend and I met in High School. One day in the lunch room she introduced me to her brother and it was from that moment on that she and I became inseperable. Hence liking her brother was like added plus too. She and I clicked so well she knew what I was thinking even before I knew!! I wish she were here now, I miss her a lot. I know she'll always be in my heart and all I have to do is smile and she's smiling back at me....
During gym at Burnham Elementary I actually beat Brian Kreutz at tugg-a-war! Ohh the flack he heard from his friends!!!
