Shelly's Story
First off, I want to say that I can't believe that high school was, well, almost 30 years ago! I can remember it like it was just yesterday! Sometimes I wish I could block it out. Boy I made some dumb decisions! My life has been blessed in so many ways. I have 3 grown children, my youngest a son, Jayson who is 21, a daughter Danyale who is 24, and Bill, who will be 26 this July. I have 2, almost 5 yr old grandsons that are the apple of my eye. Grandkids are fantastic! Oh and 4 dogs. We all live in Northern Ca. in a small town near Redding. I am a teacher, I teach kindergarten and I love my job. I teach in Redding. We moved here to Northern Ca. 14 yrs ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I love it here. Well maybe not the hot summers so much. It gets very warm here just...Expand for more
like it did/does in BHC. I am not married. I divorced about 18 years ago and focused on raising the kids, going back to school, and I took care of my mom for many years, until 2006, when she passed away. Now, at 45, I feel great and am ready to experience life for myself. I live a pretty modest life. I own my house on a 1/2 acre lot out in the country. I like to spend my time fixing up my fixer-upper. I wake up to roosters in the morning (not mine, the neighbors) and Shrek the goat (also the neighbors). I tried the farm animal thing for a while and it was just way too much work.
I don't know if anyone remembers me, but I remember a lot of you. It is fun to come back here every once and a while and look for new names and see what everyone is up to. Until next time.....
