Shelly's Story
Hi everyone. I live in Richmond, VA, with my husband Dave. I have three children: Garland (Garry) Hurst Moore IV, 20, who graduated from St. Thomas More Academy in Magnolia, DE, in 2006; Eliza Hollister Moore, 17, who will graduate from St. Gertrude's Catholic High School in Richmond in 2009; and Abigail Christian Elliott, 5, who will attend kindergarten this year. I'm doing the college search/decision thing for Eliza this summer and fall. h she'd stay in state. Abigail is very excited about attending kindergarten--I feel like sending a warning to her first teacher. Whew--quite the individualist! My son Garry is working in Florida and doing well. For myself, I am in the dissertation phase for my doctorate in education (adult education). I work full time for the Virginia Department of Social Services as a staff development consultant (curriculum development specialist). I would love to hear from my old friends at Holy Cross and have not been very good about keeping in touch--life's kept me busy! I miss you all.
