Shelly's Story
Life
It's the end of 2004 and what an extraordinary ride this life has offered! After graduating High School, I taught nursery school, was associate music director of many COM musicals, sold Yamaha pianos in San Francisco, was a bookeeper for a technical repair service, went to school out of state and got my BA in Music Education with a second degree in Piano Performance (those of you who remember me probably aren't suprised!). I have had the pleasure of working, through my piano playing, with some of the biggest names in the classical circuit, including Andre Watts, Seiji Osawa, Randall Thompson just to name a few. I have taken some of my groups on tour throughout Western Europe and have attended school in England.

result, I am now the administrator of an award winning music program in a public school district located in Northern California. I feel blessed to still have a very strong music program in our district amidst all the cuts to music programs throughout the state.
I am at a very happy time in my life, I live in one of the most beautiful areas in Northern California on 25 acres, have various farm animals and wake up to a beautiful view of the California Coastal Mountain range every morning. I am a believer in the fact that life is 10% circumstance and 90% attitude. So no matter what happens, if you can try to have a good attitude about it, it can make your life easier and more acceptable to live.
I hope to hear from some of my colleagues from 30 years ago (my heavens! Has it been THAT long?) and wish everyone the happiest and healthiest of life.
