Shelly's Story
I married Mathew (Herbie) in '93. We have been married for 16 years and we have a beautiful daughter. Samantha is 14 and a freshmen in high school this year (2010).
Life story...Herbie joined the Army in '92. We were able to travel the world. In '93 shortly after we got married we were stationed in Baumholder, Germany. We were in Germany for 3 years. It is so beautiful there! We were able to travel around Europe and see some wonderful sites. Next we were stationed in Ft. Riley, Kansas for 2 years. eing close to family and able to come home for long weekends. I decided to go to college at a local community college. In '98 Herbie decided to get out of the Army after job searching we both accepted jobs in Maryland. After 3 years we missed being near our families so we decided to move back to Colorado. In 2001 we moved to Colorado Springs. In 2003, I finished my degree and graduated summa cum laude from Regis University majoring in marketing.
Herbie has his own company working as a GIS analyst. I handle to business side of the company. We enjoy spending time with family and friends.
