Shelyn's Story
Life
After high school I gave birth to a daughter, Caitlin in September of 1989. I graduated from Mater Dei College in May of 1994 with an AAS degree in Small Business Administration and an AAS degree in Secretarial Services. I began employment with the State of New York in November 1994 as a Keyboard Specialist at Sunmount DDSO in Potsdam. After almost five years I transferred State Service to Massena Mental Health Clinic (owned by St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center.) I filled the role of Office Manager on February 4, 2002 and was officially upgraded in August 2006 - my title is Keyboard Specialist II according to NYS Civil Service. May 4, 1996. In August of 1996 we purchased my family home in Massena. I gave birth to our daughter, Cassidy in October 1997. Darren adopted Caitlin in July of 1999 and I gave birth to our daughter, Camryn in August of 1999. I had our fourth child, a son named Carter in August of 2001. Darren has been employed at Reynolds Metals (now Alcoa) since May of 1997 and is a flow leader (pot room supervisor.) In August of 2011 we sold my family home and purchased a home near the high school. I am very active in the online community with groups, boards, and ebay. I also enjoy interior decorating, providing computer consults, camping, and spending time with my children and family.
