Sheree's Story

After 10th grade at Center HS, I spent my junior year and half of my senior year at Roseville HS, then moved to the Napa Valley and graduated from Calistoga HS. I went to Santa Rosa Jr. College briefly before realizing that I just wasn't cut out for it, so I continued working full time. I moved to Seattle in 1990, turned 21 shortly after and had a lot of fun in the city for many years (17). Discovered my love of singing in my mid 20's, and after years in the karaoke bars, I joined a band. My years playing flute in the Center HS marching band came in handy as well. At that time, my future husband was my own personal "groupy". The band split up later that year and Tony and I married one year after meeting, complete with baby on the way. band split up, I started my own catering business, ran a sandwich cart at a local summer concert series, then started selling my goods to a mom 'n pop grocery store. A "Peace of Heaven" was born. Tony and I realized several years ago that Seattle didn't really fit our lifestyle anymore, so we started searching for a smaller, but even more progressive town to raise Summer in. We stumbled upon Eugene and it was a perfect fit. We moved in August '07 and are very much at home here. I own a little vegan cafe, Tony is a woodworker and runs his own business, and Summer is in the 4th grade. Tony and I are musicians (although he's the only "practicing" one at the moment ;) Summer is an avid reader, an artist, and a great little storyteller...and the love of our lives.
