Sheri's Story
Life
I met my husband at UW-Stevens Point my first year of college. I later went to MATC for dental hygiene and when I graduated we packed up whatever we could in the back of a pickup and moved to Alaska. We have lived in Anchorage, Nikiski on the Kenai Peninsula, North Pole and now back to Kenai.
My husband works for an oil company a week at a time in Prudhoe Bay at the beginning of the Trans Alaskan Pipeline Pump Station 1. I am employed as a Dental Hygienist in the Public Heal...Expand for more
th Clinic 1 day a week and a private dental office 4 days a week with a special focus on Periodontal Health.
We have 3 kids, Zach, Emily, and Erin (9, 7, 3 years old.) They are kids and keep us very busy. My folks moved to Texas 15 years ago with 1 of my sisters. My other sister lives in Oshkosh near my in-laws. I make it back to WI every other year or so.
Summertime brings lots of visitors to our house. We live in Kenai on the Kenai River - world famous for the Salmon runs.
