Life If only I knew in high school what I know now! The most famous line of all time =). I was so focused on excelling in sports and academics that I never took the time to see what was really important - the people around me. I'm sorry if you are someone I took for granted back then. I wish I could go back and be an encourager to everyone around me, because high school wasn't always easy for any of us! Through the years, God has really opened my eyes and shown me that true peace and joy don't come from my achievements, but in helping and supporting others. I am so blessed to not have to work full time (I would have considered that a curse in high school! I was ready to take the corporate world by storm) so I have the opportunity to spend my time in more meaningful and fulfilling activities. My wonderful husband makes that possible. I had to wait until I was 30 to find him, but Bruce is my soul mate and I couldn't love anyone more. I never knew I would love being a mom, I didn't even want kids when I was in high school.
