Sheri's Story
After graduation in 1974, I attended Valley College for 1 semester, where I met my husband (who is my best friend). He left in the spring semester to attend Cal State LA and I hated being in classes, taking gen ed, so I left and enrolled in a vocational school, Lawton and became a medical assistant.
We were married in 1978, have 3 grown children, 27, 25, 22. My oldest daughter is a sign language interpreter for LAUSD, my middle daughter is working on her first of two...Expand for more
masters in psychology with an emphasis in education while working with children who have autism and my son went to FIDM and FIT in New York and now works in the family business with my husband (his dad).
We have 4 dogs; 2 beagles and 2 english mastiffs. Our male mastiff just sired his first litter. We also have 6 cats.
I am going back to school online to get my AA, BA, Masters in Healthcare Administration. I also have my limited x-ray license and 12 ECE units.
