Sheri's Story
Life
After the recent Mono Basin Reunion, I realized how fun and great it was to see so many familiar faces from the past so I thought I'd check out this website in hopes of being able to do a large reunion like this again. I moved back to Mono County in 1995 to accept a job in a private practice for physical therapy. I had been working the previous 4 years for the Indian Health Service in New Mexico and Montana as a PT. Before that was years of grad school and college at the University of the Pacific in Stockton and Chico State.
Our private practice in Mammoth has now relocated to Mammoth Hospital SPORT Center which was recently built in 2004. I got married in December 2005 to a great guy from New Zealand, and we now live out in the boonies on Hwy 6 out of Bishop. First marriages for both of us... wow is this comprom...Expand for more
ise thing a whole new concept! Ha Ha.
Career wise has been very busy working as a PT in a busy sports oriented community and I have been lucky enough to be selected to the US Ski Team's pool of physical therapists that travels with the teams when needed. I have been with the Women's Alpine team for 7 years now and it's been awesome to see the building of the up and coming talent and be a part of it.
No kids, just cats and dogs, hopefully horses soon. Family is not too far away in Bishop, so that's been great for me as we are all still very close. That's about it for a quick update. Hope life is treating you all well and you get back to the beautiful Eastern Sierra, as I didn't really appreciate it growing up until I moved away.
